What the night records

Four measures from a soft seat on the temple. Wellness numbers, not a diagnosis.

Optical myography

The sensor sits on the anterior temporalis and samples at 50 Hz. It reads the mechanical squeeze on the small vessels in the muscle. It does not use electrical sensors on the skin.

Heart rate, muscle load, and blood oxygen

Green light follows the pulse: heart rate, and heart-rate variability. Infrared light, read below 1 Hz, follows muscle load, a Temporalis Fatigue Index from 0 to 100, and overnight blood oxygen (SpO₂). The fatigue index is a wellness number.

Apple Health

The iOS app can write heart rate and blood oxygen to Apple Health. Jaw load, sleep stage, and lifestyle tags stay in the app.

Drawn phone screen titled Overnight Jaw Load vs Apple Health Vitals, with a cyan jaw-load line and a coral sleep line

A drawn layout of jaw load beside sleep vitals. It is not a night from a worn unit, and the scores on the screen are not a result.

Share code

The app can issue a 6-digit share code. The patient build ships with that switch off. A clinic share is not on offer here.
